I am losing my friends because of this.
I am not yet on any medications, and havent visited the doctor.
I dont know if it really is bipolar disorder, but the symptoms are quite clear.
Mood swings are affecting my life greatly, with my family, and especially my friends.
Help me.

Doubleem24,

You've had moodswings that are affecting your loved ones and you're already diagnosing yourself with Bipolar Disorder? If you truly feel that you have symptoms of bipolar disorder, then you should be evaluated and properly diagnosed by a doctor. You may not be bipolar, your hormones may be off at the moment but the only way to get help is to see a doctor because, unfortunately, if you are Bipolar then medication is the only way to regulate the disease. Please keep us posted!

You're right,
I shouldn't have diagnosed myself with Bipolar Disorder.
They were only major mood swings, and it was quite hard controlling them.
