Hi, Shell, and welcome to EmpowHer. Thanks so much for your question.

You are not alone in this problem; many women encounter it at different stages in life. Can I ask you a few more questions so I can find better answers for you?

How long has this been happening?

Shell, how old are you? Have you recently had a baby?

Are you overweight?

Or, I am wondering if you are perhaps entering perimenopause?

And I assume that before sex, you do empty your bladder but you still have this problem?

When your bladder leaks, is it when your partner is first penetrating you, or when you are having an orgasm?

To start with, here is our EmpowHer Encyclopedia page on urinary incontinence, possible causes and treatments:

https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/urinary-incontinence#definition

And here is an article from Psychology Today:

Please write back with answers to the questions above and we'll see if we can get you some helpful information.
