Thank you so much for responding. I did spend the next day nauseous and light headed. I will try to monitor the situations when they happen. I can't be pregnant, tubes tied and husband is sterile. It was just a little scary, when you body does new things and they are not nice!

Since it only happened once, I would not be too concerned. Some women do experience weakness/shakiness in their muscles after having an orgasm, and this is completely normal (and often expected!).
The nausea could have been caused by the exertion to get to the orgasm, or it could have been related to any number of things that occurred beforehand. Again, since this only happened once, I would not over-analyze these symptoms. If the nausea continues after every orgasms (and, if you have sex without orgasms without nausea), and the nausea is severe enough to last for an hour afterwards, let us know and we can do some research for you on this topic!

Better finish. I chalked it up to the uterus contracting during the orgasm. I just have never felt this bad before?
