Hi Ocir,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Menstrual cramps are pain in the belly and pelvic area during a woman's menstrual period.  If you pain does continue after you period is over, then it might be to other conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis and many other.  You need to see a doctor and he might suggest having imaging test done to know what can be the cause.

Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
