Not having a period is not a sign that something is wrong usually. It is only necessary to have a regular period if you are trying to become pregnant or you have severe negative symptoms related to your cycle such as deliberating pain.
If you do wish to have a regular period doctors usually recommend taking birth control pills. These pills contain the necessary hormones in order to have a regular period.
