Dental care is important to your overall health. However it is expensive. I have lost my dental insurance due to divorce, and dental care is taking a toll on my finances. Now I may not get the dental care I need, due to financial constraints. To many families and individuals do not seek preventative dental care due to cost. If education were provided on the importance of oral hygiene, how dental issues affect you systemically, and frequent dental hygienist visits to schools and clinics, possibly the importance of dental care would be noted. It would also reduce health care costs and emergency room visits for oral pain.
