I was not responding to anyone in particular. I was just stating my beliefs. The title of the poll says "What is your reaction", So I posted my reaction.
God loves all people equally gay or straight. The act that god condemns is the homosexual act. That's what god says is a sin. We are all sinners and he loves us all, but its the sins we commit that he doesn't agree with. Those are my beliefs.

I think there has been a little confusion. I'm not debating in any sense. I also agree with with what you've written. :)
When you wrote that we shouldn't do what we already know he dislikes is so true. The point i was trying to affirm was that the act of homosexuality is what God dislikes. I myself obviously don't partake in those acts. I try hard to do what god believes is right, and i also try not to engage in what he dislikes. I completely agree with your statement. We should not engage in what the lord does not approve!!

Yes i agree that god made man and woman for each other. But i do believe god loves everybody. Whether your gay or straight, he loves everyone equally no matter what. God doesn't condemn the person he condemns the act. Even though i believe marriage should be between a man and a woman. If two people love each other gay or straight, whats wrong with that?

You are perfectly right God loves all and condemns none, indeed the scripture says "for God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" Betty you surely made my day in your piece with these sentence quote "GOD DOESN'T CONDEMN THE PERSON HE CONDEMNS THE ACT" end of quote. The question is why engage in an ACT hat you have well stated God condemns. Dare I say more? I rest my case! Love you and God bless you!
In the beginning God created man and woman, Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve. Animals are lower to us humans am yet to see two male dogs shag it up together. If anyone has seen such i would gladly love to hear same. The Bible is not outdated, it is relevant as ever, and says that God is not mad at us but madly in love with us, by giving us His only son to die for us. Jesus loves the gays and straights and wants them all saved. If a person is in Christ old things gives way to the new.

The Bible says that I can legally own slaves if they are purchased from a neighboring country. Do we follow that? No.
The Bible says that someone must be stoned to death for wearing clothing made of two fabrics. Do we follow that? No.
