A Type 2 diabetes diet is working for those WITHOUT diabetes
As retired health educator of 30 years I would like to pass on some of my mistakes that may help someone lose weight. Also I would like to pass on some new information on why a diabetic diet works to lose stubborn weight. If you do not have diabetes you can lose stubborn belly fat and pounds on a Type 2 Diabetes diet.
One of my mistakes in the early years was the belief that calories were all that mattered with weight loss. This is not true, there are people who do not eat a lot of food and still cannot lose weight.
How a Type 2 Diabetes diet is works for non diabetics
The answer lies in Blood sugar, originally it was believed blood sugar was a problem for diabetics alone but recent research has revealed differently. If you have belly fat or weight that does not come off with dieting it could be blood sugar related. What Science discovered is that you can have a “normal blood sugar level” and still have weight gain from blood sugar. In fact almost all who cannot lose weight have a blood sugar problem. What is the best way to lose weight? Following a blood sugar correction diet has been overweight people a normal body weight.
A Filmmaker’s Diabetes diet was tested on Non Diabetics who were overweight with normal blood sugar, the results surprised researchers, after only 2 months the non diabetics lost significant fat around the belly. It is clear that Blood sugar holds the fat around the middle that is so hard to lose. The best way to lose weight may be to follow a healing diabetic diet. Blood sugar is responsible for almost every ailment in the body. As the chemical damage from processed foods are reversed there is a healing of blood sugar and a lose of stubborn weight. Wow, who wrote this? I tend to dismiss any type of advice article with this many typos and random assertions with no foundation.

Hi,
Yes, Blood sugar is actually glucose molecules that circulate in your blood stream but a "normal level" may still be too high for many non diabetics
According to the Havard medical journal (2004) A study was done in non diabetics which showed that for every 1% percentage over 5 on the Ac1 blood sugar test their was an increase of viscersal(belly) body fat and heart disease in non diabetics.
It showed the link between belly fat and blood sugar even in so called normal levels
Those who had a normal level (or high normal level) showed an increase of abdominal fat.
A good friend of mine is overweight by about 40 pounds, her blood sugar is normal. Her doctor told her to getting the blood sugar Ac1 down another 1% could cause her to drop the bellyfat
This is why the diabetes diet in the
article may have helped the non diabetic drop the bellyfat
Hope this helps

Can you explain what you mean by, "It is clear that Blood sugar holds the fat around the middle that is so hard to lose."
How does blood sugar "hold fat around the middle", as this is very confusing. Blood sugar is actually glucose molecules that circulate in your blood stream, so I am not sure what you are referring to by it "holding fat", particularly around someone's middle (or any other specific area).
thanks for your clarification!
