Yes, Dar, the male obgyns weren't much help back then and even though today's doctors have more information, I still try the natural remedies first.

Wonderful, so useful an article! Just wish I had read this years ago! When I told my gyno about my problem--it was painful!--all he did was give me a tube of lubricant, and it didn't help. I keep forgetting to do the Kegel exercises, so your other options sound so helpful. My first try will be the olive oil, then the vitamins. Thanks so much for all your advice!
