Young Women Losing Weight Join this Group

want/need to lose weight but lack any motivation ... HELP

So I am about 200 lbs and im 5'7 so im significantly overweight and I hate it...I hate what I see in the mirror, I cry when I go clothes shopping so 9 times out of 10 I wear jeans and t shirts and I want to feel sexy and comfortable in cute outfits after all im only 24!!! I already lost 30 lbs just by changing my diet which was easy but now im staying at 200 and I know what I need to do, I need to exercise and I always tell myself what im going to do like walk or ride bikes with the kids etc but I never can find the motivation to actually do it...anyone have any suggestions? Plz help!!!

Hi all,
Sharing your stories on struggles with losing weight is a great start to your journey to weight loss. This thread will motivate and encourage people to stay on track. There is no shortcut to losing weight, I used to weigh 210 lbs and I am 5'5" yes I was obese. I learned I needed to get my metabolism fired up and I did this by eating 3 meals a day with 2 snacks in between meals. I incorporated exercise on a daily basis as well, after about 6 months I hit a plateau and I stopped losing weight and didn't see any real changes in my body size. I started doing high intensity interval training, I.e. I would run as fast as I could for a minute and then walk for 2 minutes and repeat for 5 sets. This hiit helped get my routine out of a rut and it confused my body, like muscle confusion from the p90x workout. There are a lot of information on the Internet these days and YouTube also has a lot of workouts on there, go and do the research. wow thank you so much great advice and i feel less weighed down after just reading your post i will definitely take ur suggestions to heart and keep u posted on my progress thanks again
