My inability to recall words has been getting worse and worse over the past 20 year so I decided to retire soon.
Then a fortnight ago I realised that my memory has become normal again. After at least 20 years of inconvenience. There are two possible reasons. I discovered I am allergic to Gluten, I think I have been since a child. I was on iron tablets for anaemia when I was four years of age. I have always had IBS but I got to the stage where I had constant Diarrhea and dizziness. It is now 6 months since I stopped consuming gluten and this could be the reason that my memory has come back.
The other reason is that I am on Livial. I had only been taking it for 2 weeks when my memory returned, which doesn’t really seem long enough to make such a marked difference.
I am told that one's memory comes back with Livial, but surely not after only two weeks?
I was told by my gastroenterologist that many women say, "The fog has lifted", after they change to a gluten free diet. At the time I did not know what she meant but now I do.
Has anyone else experienced such a phenonomen?
One other thing, I was very dizzy all the time before I started the gluten free diet. The neurologist called it Gluten ataxia. Has anyone else experienced this?
