I am meeting with a health professional tomorrow re:bioidentical hormones.I am at my wit's end. At 50 years of age, I have not had a period in two years. My two severest symptoms that I have are lack of sleep and daytime fuzziness. I hve put on weigh, have no sex drive and no sense of clarity. I have read that once on bio identicals, a women;'s body has trouble getting off them, as their body stops producing hormones naturally. Is this true? Can I alter and conquer with just diet?
I want to enjoy my life and feel that standard medical practices are not giving patients or the issue the attention it deserves.
