I was diagnosed with RA and "possible" lupus about 10 years ago. I have noticed that the last year or so my fingernails just look horrible. I am embarrassed by it. Also, its been a rough year with the RA. Every single joint hurts to the point I just cry.. I take lyrica and that's all I take. I do not want pain medication or anything to mask the issue! I am just to the point that I can't handle it anymore. My Dr just keeps running tests and wanting to change my medicine up, but I have been through so many medications the last ten years that I just don't want to do that anymore...any advice at all about what I should do or why I have these really bad fingernails?
