Allie Hoeland
In 2006, Allie was diagnosed with gastroparesis and quickly ran out of treatments to explore. Together with her mother, Pamela, they decided to take action and become part of the solution. They started a non-profit, the I Can Foundation (ICF) with a goal to identify, facilitate, and fund innovative research that shows strong potential for improving medication and treatment. Through the efforts of Pamela and Allie, along with the support of the gastroparesis/dysmotility community, ICF hopes to reach its goal of finding a cure and changing the lives of millions.
