I am a relatively healthy 22 year old. I have been struggling with debilitating depression for 5 years and am still learning how to deal with is and haven been on the medication roller coaster since I was 18. I try not to let my illness effect my daily life but there are times where I shut off for a month, or months at a time. If it was not for my friends and family who consistently check in on me, I would not have made it this far.
