I'm a perfectly flawed mom and stepmom. My experience in both of these roles has shaped my professional career to focus on educating those with kids considering remarriage and those already in stepfamilies. Simply put, my mission is to help those "in step" beat the statistic that 2/3 of them fail. This is my story… I welcome you to share your's and be open to making minor shifts so you can move from merely surviving to thriving in your stepfamily.
Wanna know a little bit more about me? Read on... I'm President and Founder of Success for Steps®, a resource dedicated to helping those in "step" relationships. I’m a Master Stepfamily Coach (certified through the Stepfamily Foundation) and have received advanced clinical training through the National Stepfamily Resource Center. I’m also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Distance Credentialed Counselor. Recognized as an expert on stepfamily dynamics, I’ve been featured nationally, including NBC's Daytime and Ebony magazine, and am a contributing writer for StepMom Magazine.
I offer stepfamily coaching services via the telephone, video-conferencing, and FaceTime, in addition to in-person at my offices in Tampa, FL.
