My health story...like to read it? Here it goes.... At the age of 23 I was diagnosed with a detached retina in my left eye, due to my extreme near-sitedness. It was so severe that I almost went blind in that eye. However, my fabulous Retina Specialist was able to re-attach it with schleral buckle surgery. My vision was not completely restored and I have peripheral view issues, that require restrictions on my drivers license. During my late 20's I was diagnosed with nasal polyps; due to my extreme allergies. I've had 3 nasal polyp removal laser-surgeries. The polyps have return and right now, I'm mentally-drained and having them removed will just have to wait! On my 30th. birthday I had an MRI because my prolactin levels were extremely high. My breasts were producing milk and I was not pregnant. I found out that I had a pituitary tumor. I was immediately placed on Dostinex and alas as years progressed my adenoma dissolved completely! Praise God! I celebrated until, I was just recently diagnosed with Stage IV Endometriosis! This too shall pass! I just keep pressing forward...because I have no choice!
I have endometriosis, (since age 14) had mononucleosis as age 18 (severe) have had 2 laporoscopies, one cyst on left ovary, bouts with headaches, chest pain, blurred vision, loss of peripheal ...
Ms.Re commented on Anonymous' post Endometriosis as an autoimmune disease, more suspectible to other automimmune diseases? How do you find out if you have another automimmune disease?
