I am a finishing graduate student finishing my MA thesis. I am also undergoing personal changes in my life. People who were there earlier are no longer in my life, I have moved from my apartment back at the university and live at home. My days are spent working on my thesis, on facebook, and here.
However, when it comes time to sleep, even after a great day like yesterday when my boy friend and I had a wonderful one-on-one session through skype. I was cool, calm, and collected yet I got up on 2am. I couldn't sleep due to personal grief and unknown reasons.
Since I returned home from my school back in August (where I had been living with my best friends and bf), I have been having sleepless nights. At exactly 2am or 4am, my eyes suddenly open and I am wide awake. It takes me longer to return back to sleep. How do I bring my life back to normal? My friends are all in other states as that's where I had done my schooling and my friends back home are busy in their lives or have moved on. I spend most of my day finishing my thesis. I also have to worry about Phd applications and giving GRE, yet I have not heard back from advisor about my current status. How do I make my life productive and satisfying as it was last year at this time? What steps do I take to get a full night's sleep?
