Guide (reply to Anonymous)

Hello Anonymous,

Let's start with your period in January. Heavy bleeding that lasts two weeks is something to be concerned about.

If the only time you had unprotected intercourse was the day after your period ended, then there is no chance that you are pregnant. But, if there have been more occasions later in the month, then pregnancy is possibly the reason you have not had a period this month.

For accurate results, you should take a home pregnancy test once your period is late by at least one week. Checked the expiration date. Test with the first urine of the morning.

Anonymous, if you do not get a period this month, schedule an appointment for an exam with your gynecologist or primary care physician.

Regards,
Maryann
