With a history of irregular periods, how many days does your period generally last? On average, how long is your menstrual cycle? Has the reason for irregular menstrual cycles been determined?
Was the menstrual flow heavy for three days or more like spotting? Have you been having unprotected sex regularly since your last normal period?
If the bleeding was spotting, pink or brown in color, and you have been having unprotected sex, take a home pregnancy in the next few days.
This could be implantation bleeding.
Otherwise, if you see a gynecologist, call the office.
