Well, you are suppose to take the first Next Choice pill within 72 hours of having unprotected sex, sexual attack or a known or suspected contraceptive failure. The second pill should be taken 12 hours after taking the first pill. Usually, Next Choice is taken after the sexual act, not before. I guess you should be protected against getting pregnant because you gave your body a double dose of hormones. You will probably notice some significant changes in your menstrual cycle for the next few months.
