Guide (reply to Anonymous)

Hello Anonymous,

I am sorry to hear that you are still dealing with this even after seeing your physician.

Are you male or female? How old are you? If you are a female ages 50 and older, could this internal heat be hot flashes associated with perimenopause and menopause.

Do you have any medical conditions? Feeling hot when it is not hot weather may indicate a thyroid gland problem.

Heartburn is actually a symptom of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), and is caused by acid refluxing back into the esophagus. Risk factors include those that increase the production of acid in the stomach, as well as structural problems that allow acid reflux into the esophagus.

Anonymous, maybe you should see another doctor.

Regards,
Maryann
