Plan B prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation, so it may have worked for you.
Stomach cramps are a side effect of the pill, but are temporary and last a few days. If you are still having cramps a week or more later, you may want to speak with your physician.
If you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill, then test for pregnancy.
