Postinor 2 is most effective if taken when taken as close to the time of the sexual encounter. So, you did well in taking the first pill one hour after intercourse. It is recommended that the second pill be taken 12 hours later. Not taking the pill as directed may impact its effectiveness, I honestly don't know. You may want to call your doctor on this one, or contact Planned Parenthood.
