Hi,
That is a very interesting sensation. As you know, osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease in which the joint cartilage wears away. The joint can becomes stiff and swollen. It is difficult to bend or straighten your knee. The pain and swelling is worse in the morning and after a period of inactivity. I am wondering if the sensation that bugs are crawling inside your knee is how the pain and swelling are presenting. Have you mentioned this to your doctor? Maybe other readers have some suggestions to offer.
