Guide

Hi,
Did you know that PID or pelvic inflammatory disease is a serious complication of some sexually transmitted diseases, especially chlamydia and gonorrhea. PID can damage the fallopian tubes and tissues in and near the uterus and ovaries. PID can lead to serious consequences including infertility, ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy in the fallopian tube or elsewhere outside of the womb), abscess formation, and chronic pelvic pain. That being said, your inability to get pregnant is something that you need to discuss with your doctor. Also, during your next appointment with your doctor, you need to tell him about the symptoms that you are having and report that your period is late.If you find it hard to wait until September to be seen, call the doctor's office and ask if you can be seen sooner.
