Hi,
Scabies is an easily spread skin disease caused by a very small species of mite. It is spread by skin-to-skin contact with another person who has scabies. But, if you did not have skin- to-skin contact with the infected person, there may be a very low chance that you were infected with the mites. Be alert for symptoms such as itching, especially at night, skin rashes, especially between your fingers, and thin lines that develop on your skin. Call your doctor if you notice any skin changes. Prescription medicated creams are used to treat scabies infections.
