Dark bleeding, brown to black in color, is not normal. An emergency contraceptive, like Next Choice, contains doses of synthetic estrogen at much larger amounts than that found in birth control pills.
Taking doses of large amounts of estrogen within less than a week upset your hormone levels. You should not be taking Next Choice, or any other emergency contraceptive, so frequently. You are seriously messing up the balance of your reproductive hormones. The reproductive hormones control your menstrual cycle.
