Every woman will respond to an emergency contraceptive pill differently.

Was the discharge spotting or an actual flow? When is her next period due to start?

Since you are both concerned, your girlfriend should speak with her gynecologist.

Otherwise wait for her next period to start. If she is late by at least one week or misses it , then she can take a home pregnancy test.
