If you can remember, did he have an erection? If his penis was erect, there is a good chance that sperm was released, even if you didn't see it. Sperm is microscopic, so tiny that you cannot see. Just because you can't see it, that doesn't mean it's not there.
Where on your body did he rub his penis? If it was on your labia (the lips on the outside of your private parts) and just one sperm was released, there is a very small chance that you could have gotten pregnant.
You can best protect yourself from an unwanted pregnancy by using birth control correctly and consistently. You need to protect yourself against STDs, as well.
