Guide

Eating foods that are high in fat and cholesterol and low in fiber appear to play a role in the development of gallstones.
So, you should avoid fatty cuts of red meat like beef. Chose leaner meats like fish or skinless chicken breasts or thighs.

Avoid dairy products that are high in fat like cream, butter and ice cream. Chose low-fat dairy products such as low-fat milk, yogurt and cheese.

Avoid deep fried foods. Avoid hydrogenated fats and oils. Use olive oil or canola oil instead. Avoid highly processed foods like doughnuts, pie and cookies. Eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
