Hi Julie, You mention a "3rd cycle". Are you receiving some form of infertility treatment or are you trying to conceive naturally?
The dark brown to black sticky or slimy vaginal discharge is neither a sign of ovulation or implantation bleeding.
At the time of ovulation, vaginal discharge is clear and elastic or stretchy.
Implantation bleeding is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood.
The dark brown to black discharge signals old blood. I am concerned what the cause may be. I suggest you consult your gynecologist.
