I understand how you are feeling. I always felt better after having an ultrasound or visit with the obstetrician. It was a way of knowing that everything is going well with your pregnancy.
From my experience as a nurse, if you did go to the emergency room, you would be examined by the emergency room physician. You would also be evaluated by the ob/gyn resident, who would consult with your private physician. If there was a concern, an ultrasound and blood work would be done at that time.
But, let's think positive thoughts. Everything will be all right:)
