A woman is most likely to conceive (get pregnant) if she has unprotected sex during the ovulation (when an ovary releases a mature egg). Ovulation usually occurs day 11 through day 21 of the cycle, counting from the first day of the last menstrual period.
But, really there is no safe time for a woman to have unprotected sex if she does not want to get pregnant. The exact day of ovulation is difficult to pinpoint.
