It is possible. As I mentioned there are over 40 types of HPV. Some types cause genital warts, oral warts and throat warts.
I suggest that you consult the dermatologist who remove the wart from your lip. Technically, a tissue sample from the wart can be sent to a lab for analysis to determine what type of HPV you have.
I don't know what is worse-genital or oral warts. That is something that you need to discuss with your physician.
