Hi emcee,
I don't think there is a chance that you could have conceived or gotten pregnant.
Let me explain. You missed a dose on Sunday but took a dose on Monday and every following day with an extra dose on Thursday, when you realized that you had missed a dose on Sunday.
You had intercourse on Monday, is that correct? You took a birth control pill on Monday. So, you were protected.
Most birth control pills contain synthetic forms of two female hormones: estrogen and progestin. These synthetic hormones stabilize a woman's natural hormone levels and prevent estrogen from peaking mid-cycle. Subsequently, the pituitary gland does not release the other hormones that normally cause the ovaries to release mature eggs. Birth control pills prevent pregnancy mainly by stopping ovulation. If no egg is released, there is nothing to be fertilized by sperm and a woman cannot get pregnant.
It is recommended that if you miss one dose, take 2 pills the next day.
