When did you previously take Plan B?
Plan B is designed for emergency use and should not be taken regularly or as birth control.

It uses the same ingredient found in many birth control pills, levonorgestrel, to help prevent pregnancy from happening. The difference is that Plan B One-Step® requires just one pill, which uses a larger dose of levonorgestrel than a single birth control pill.

It’s not as effective as other methods of birth control used consistently and correctly, so it’s important to have another reliable source of birth control that’s right for you.

Honestly, Plan B has not been available long enough to know, if taken too often, what effects it will have on a woman's body.
