Guide

Hello Nae_Tee,

Premenstrual symptoms occur during what is known as the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. This phase is between ovulation and the start of menstrual bleeding or soon after. Generally, ovulation occurs in the middle of the menstrual cycle. Therefore, it is normal to experience PMS two weeks before the start of your period.

The increased stress that you have been experiencing can be responsible for how you are feeling. Try to find ways to relax and reduce your stress levels. Mediation and yoga work for some women. Listening to music, taking a walk or sipping a cup of tea can be soothing.
