Having unprotected sex during ovulation or your fertile period increases the chance of conceiving or becoming pregnant. Generally, ovulation occurs in the middle of the menstrual cycle, about two weeks before the start of your period.
The only way to know if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test. A blood test can detect hCG levels as early as 11 days following conception. A urine test can detect the pregnancy hormone about 12 to 14 days following conception.
If your expected period of September 25 is late beyond one week, take a pregnancy test.
