I do not think you are pregnant. By washing your hands, you removed any semen that was on them. Sperm can live outside of the body for only about 20 minutes to an hour, depending on how exposed the semen is to the air and other environmental factors. Once semen has fully dried, it no longer contains any living sperm.
Pregnancy is not the only cause of a late period. Stress, illness, excessive exercising and either weight loss or weight gain can cause a delay in the start of a period.
