Hello ashluvzlin,

You must be congratulated on being clean for two years. That cannot be easy.
You know that old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day"? Five years of drug abuse reeked havoc on your body...it is going to take as much time to undo the damage.

Take it one day at a time. Gradually, your body will heal and get back to normal, including a normal sleep pattern. Are you physically active during the day?
Give this a try-- wake up at the same time each day; engage in some degree of physical activity during the day, at least 30 minutes, eat a healthy diet and go to bed at the same time each day. Over time, your body will adjust to this new pattern.
