This sounds like bacterial vaginosis, which is condition where the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina is disrupted and replaced by an overgrowth of certain bacteria. Normally,, the vagina contains mostly "good" bacteria and fewer "bad" bacterial. Bacterial vaginosis develops because there is an increase in harmful or "bad" bacteria.
Symptoms include an odorous vaginal discharge. It can have a fish-like smell, and burning during urination or itching around the outside of the vagina.
To prevent complications, consult your health care provider for diagnosis and treatment. Bacterial vaginosis is treatable with antibiotics.
