I love this. I think the best thing anyone can do for themselves is be educated and CARE about your health. 

It sometimes takes a little while to really understand what this means, but here's an example:

I was feeling pretty down and depressed (I attributed this to the changing seasons, cold weather and lack of activity). After the new year I vowed to make little changes in my life. One step at a time. First it was "just get up and get out of the house" then it turned into "just go to the gym, who cares how long." Now it's "how long can you run?" Next I hope it will be "how strong can you be?" 

I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this!
