When you have your appointment with your doctor next week, tell him what the pain feels like, where you are feeling the pain, when it started, if it is persistent and constant or if it comes and goes. Tell him if any activity makes the pain worse or gives you some relief. Rate the pain on a scale from 1 to ten, with one being no pain, 5 being bearable pain, and 10 being unbearable pain. All this information will be helpful to him. He will probably do a breast exam and order a diagnostic test.
