Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Having irregular menstrual cycles can make it difficult to calculate when you are ovulating and when to know if you are late.

What is AF?

Implantation bleeding is scanty, pink to brown in color and last only a few days. It occurs about six to 12 days after the egg is fertilized.

Levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced only during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception. In blood, it is detectable about 11 days following conception.

If done correctly, the home pregnancy test should have picked up hCG by now and given you positive results if you are pregnant.

With your history of irregular menstrual cycles, it might be wise to check with your physician regarding the spotting.

Regards,
Maryann
