Those are questions I ask myself.

A recent analysis of the scientific articles that span the last 50 years showed no significant difference in nutrient content of organically and conventionally produced foods.

People choose to buy organic food because they are concerned about the use of pesticides and want to limit their exposure to the residue of these chemicals.

Other folks buy organic products for environmental reasons.
Organic refers to the way farmers grown and process fruit, vegetables, grains, dairy products and meat. The practices of organic farming encourage soil and water conservation and reduce pollution.

Organic regulations severely restrict the use of food additives, processing aids and fortifying agents such as monosodium glutamate and artificial sweeteners.

You must weigh these factors against the additional cost when deciding to purchase organic food.
