Guide

Hello imranykhan,

I would like to welcome you to the EmpowHER community.
What are your specific vision changes?

Vision changes are common as we age. Difficulty seeing clearly for reading and close work are two of the most common problems adults develop between the ages 41 to 60. The normal aging changes in the eye's focusing ability is called presbyopia. This condition continue to progress over time.

If you wore prescription glasses or contact lens to see clearly in the distance, the onset of presbyopia can cause the need for bifocal or multifocal lens.

With aging, there is the risk for developing cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Your ophthalmologist is your best resource to answer your question.

Regards,
Maryann
