Generally, when a couple are unable to conceive after one year of unprotected sexual intercourse, it is determined the cause is infertility.
It also sounds like you have had some type of infection. Was it a yeast infection or something more serious, like a sexually transmitted disease?
Continue to follow your physician's recommendations. If you and your husband are unable to conceive after a year of trying, consider consulting an infertility specialist.
