Hello Anonymous,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. I can appreciate how stressed you are right now.

High levels of stress, particularly during ovulation, can cause a delay in the start of your period.

Once semen dries, sperm dies. Generally, sperm can live outside the body for 20 minutes. Wiping semen from his hand removed the semen. Most likely, there was not any remaining semen left. But, sperm are microscopic.

The best thing you can do is take a home pregnancy test. Levels of hCG, which is a hormone produced only during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception.

Anonymous, I do not think you were at risk for conceiving, but the test result will give you the answer you are looking for.

High doses of Vitamin C will not accelerate the start of a menstrual period. In fact, high doses have been associated with multiple adverse
side effects including blood clotting, death (heart-related), kidney stones, pro-oxidant effects, problems with the digestive system, and red blood cell destruction.

Please keep us updated.

Regards,
Maryann
