You have obviously done your research. For the benefit of our readers,
a research paper posted this month by two professors affiliated with Princeton University states: " Analysis of data from the two randomized trials... found that when compared with women who were not obese, obese women taking levonorgestrel had a significantly higher risk of pregnancy..."
"In clinical trials, contraceptive efficacy was reduced in
women weighing 75 kg (165 lbs) or more and levonorgestrel
was not effective in women who weighed more than
80 kg (176 lbs)".
Anonymous, as you know a BMI of 26 is considered overweight. My only suggestion is to have a blood pregnancy test done. With a history of irregular periods, I think it is your only option, other than waiting.
